Energy Tip Details
Hot tubs typically waste a lot of energy producing heat. Hot tubs that are maintained at 'ready' temperatures continuously waste heat throughout the day. By only raising the temperature an hour before use, and maintaining that temperature during use, energy waste and costs can be dramatically reduced.

What You Need to Do
  • Activate or install a timer for your hot tub's heater as necessary; set to heat only in the time needed to raise the temperature before use (typically 1 hour before use) and during the use time.
