Install (more) wall insulation
With too little wall insulation, a lot of warmth escapes your home through your exterior walls in the winter, and a lot of coolness escapes in the summer. This can be prevented by putting insulation in the hollow spaces in the exterior walls of your house.

    Engage a wall insulation vendor to install insulation in your exterior wall cavities. Wall insulation is typically injected through small holes drilled into each exterior wall cavity.

    Be sure to select insulation with at least an energy performance profile outlined below.

Additionally, if you have leaky or poorly insulated ductwork, your home might have humidity problems, excessive dust, or rooms that are never quite comfortable. Improving the building shell and sealing ducts can generally improve your home.
