Seal your heating/cooling system air ducts
Older ducts are typically poorly sealed, and leak large amounts of air that your heating and/or cooling systems have worked on. By sealing your ducts this loss can be mostly eliminated, and the air you have paid so much to have heated and cooled can be retained for use.

    First, it is advisable to have your ducts tested by an HVAC vendor that specializes in energy efficiency.

    Should your air loss be approximately as stated or more, you should have your duct system sealed by a qualified HVAC specialist.
